Welcome to a new era in the Gluten-Free food
industry. Amarillo, located in the panhandle
of Texas, is the home of Mixes from the
Heartland Inc. (MFTH), and the birthplace of
an entirely new line of food products. MFTH
will explode onto the market this month with
a revolutionary new line of
Sugar-Free/Gluten-Free food products. Food
products which will satisfy the dietary
needs and the culinary tastes of an ever
increasing consumer market overlooked until
now.
Medical science continues to confirm that
people suffering with diabetes are often
victims of celiac disease as well. This ever
growing market has anxiously awaited a
return to the dining pleasure they once
enjoyed. To date Celiac/Diabetics were
compelled to create meals from the meager
ingredients available at their local grocery
or health food store. Sharing a meal at home
with the family took on a new meaning for
these consumers. Quality family time
encouraged by sharing a meal was gravely
undermined when the family could no longer
share the same meal. MFTH is happy to be a
part of bringing these families together
again as they share meals by providing food
products which meet the dietary needs of
some and please the palates of all.
Mixes from the Heartland's manufacturing
facility is completely free of wheat, rye,
barley, oats, eggs, peanuts (a legume), nuts
produced by trees and all their by-products.
Here at MFTH we are proud of the fact that
no bean flour is utilized in the preparation
of our products. Only flour from rice,
tapioca, and potatoes can be found in the
food products that we offer. We remain
committed to all-natural food lines and our
products are completely free of all manmade
preservatives such as MSG. Only
high-quality, all natural and freeze-dried
ingredients are used in the preparation of
our foods, ensuring us that our products are
healthy and deliciously fresh. Our customers
deserve more than food products that merely
meet special dietary requirements. We insist
that MFTH products and meals be designed,
created and tested for a fresh and delicious
taste, the entire family will enjoy.
In September 2007, while attending a
function in support of the Celiac Sprue
Association, Mixes from the Heartland Inc.
presented over 500 food products from its
various lines. When we began manufacturing
earlier this year, our focus was
concentrated on 167 of our finest products.
These food products are represented in our
January catalogue. Over the coming months,
MFTH will significantly increase the number
of products it offers. For example, our
February catalogue offers an additional 41
fine food products for our customers to
select from. Look for additional products in
future catalogues from Mixes from the
Heartland Inc.
In Addition, Mixes from the Heartland
marketing strategies and food products will
show our continued support of celiacs
through the prominent display of the Celiac
Sprue Association, which is devoted to the
health and dietary needs of Americans
everywhere.
